During these rough economical times I've been searching desperately for a job only to find nothing on my end. Its not like I'm old enough to have a career, just a pay check to help out with a few of my expenses. While I'm not completely giving up the search I'm starting to look for more unconventional ways to help earn a little extra cash while getting in some good art practice at the same time.

However, I'm really not sure where to begin or what I should do in the first place. I've been thinking of doing portraits for people around town, but getting started with that is a little tough. Plus I don't know a think about how to determine prices or anything like that.

I also have several other ideas for things to paint and to do later on down the road, but I doubt I would be able to bring myself to sell those. I tend to get too attached to what I do to get rid of them.

So I guess for now I'll just keep doing little pictures for friends and family and tell them to spread the word. Maybe I can get a few good things going on before too much longer.
